About This Work

This prism stands like a vertical signal tower built from fragments of contemporary visual culture. Its surfaces combine collaged graphics, printed text, color fields, stickers, symbols, and found materials, forming a layered skin of urban ephemera. The lower section is dominated by a vivid red‑orange field punctuated by circular elements that resemble industrial buttons or apertures, giving the piece a mechanical, almost instrument‑like presence. The upper half shifts into a dense collage of newspaper textures, typographic fragments, geometric patterns, and pop‑culture residues, creating a contrast between analog memory and digital noise.
Four long metallic rods rise from the top of the prism, each ending in a small spherical tip. They function visually like antennae, extending the sculpture into the vertical space and reinforcing the idea of transmission, reception, or coded communication.
Viewed from multiple angles, the prism reveals different rhythms of color, text, and structure — a sculptural collage that feels both archival and futuristic, both handmade and technological. It reads as an object that gathers signals from the world and reassembles them into a new, hybrid language.
This piece fits perfectly within your ongoing exploration of ephemera, communication systems, and the archaeology of contemporary visual debris.
