About This Work

This prism is a vertical collage‑object built from layers of pop‑culture residue, graphic fragments, stamps, stickers, painted textures, and found printed materials. Its surfaces pulse with red, orange, yellow, black, and electric accents of blue and pink, forming a chromatic field that feels both playful and archival.
The composition is structured like a visual inventory of contemporary symbols: price tags, typographic shards, geometric shapes, grids, crosses, circles, and fragments of commercial language. These elements overlap and interact, creating a dense, rhythmic surface that reads like a compressed billboard — a miniature monument to mass communication.
The metal ring at the top acts as a conceptual hinge: a loop, a handle, a signal, a gesture that extends the sculpture beyond its rectangular body. It suggests mobility, transmission, or a ritualistic function, adding a sculptural punctuation mark to the collage.
Each side of the prism reveals a different micro‑narrative: one face dominated by bold red and orange blocks, another filled with stamps and pop‑graphic icons, another layered with text fragments and coded symbols, another with painterly gestures and chromatic noise.
Together, they form a totem of pop ephemera, a vertical archive of visual culture that feels at once nostalgic and hyper‑contemporary. The piece continues your exploration of how printed debris, commercial language, and everyday graphics can be transformed into sculptural memory.
