Inquire About This Piece
„Compact‑Double Fairytale” is a digital vision where eras collide and whisper to each other. At its center stands a Renaissance‑like figure, serene and luminous, holding a guitar as if she’s about to play the first chord of a story that refuses to stay in one century. Around her, the world fractures into industrial stamps, barcodes, corrosion labels, and urban debris — a modern storm swirling around a classical calm.
The background pulses with layered textures in pinks, ochres, and soft browns, like a fairytale rewritten on recycled paper. The collage is full of interruptions: LOT Nummer, CORROSION, COMPACT DOUBLE, fragments of advertising language, warnings, and half‑forgotten slogans. These elements behave like intruders from the present, barging into a myth that was never meant to be efficient, categorized, or scanned.
Near the bottom, a tiny yellow telephone booth appears like a relic from a parallel story — a portal, a confession box, a place where fairytales might leave messages for the future. The entire composition feels like a dream caught between two incompatible worlds: the tenderness of old stories and the noise of contemporary life.
It’s a fairytale, yes — but one that has been compacted, doubled, folded, stamped, and sent through the machinery of modernity.
