About This Work

Mixed media painting — acrylic paint and spray, ink, pins, PVC letters, colored pencils, pieces of leather, a recovered woman belt, a small, framed old portrait, etc.
“Fine (sm)ART Dada” unfolds as a charged, multi‑layered surface where typography, objects, and color collide in a deliberate yet playful tension. The bold white ART anchors the composition, while the fragments “FINE,” “SM,” and “DADA” orbit around it like conceptual satellites, questioning labels, hierarchies, and the seriousness of art itself.
Numbers scattered from 1 to 12 disrupt linear time, turning the canvas into a broken clock — a space where moments overlap, repeat, or vanish. Pins, PVC letters, leather, and drawn marks introduce a tactile, almost sculptural presence, puncturing the flatness of the painted surface and transforming it into a hybrid between collage, assemblage, and urban palimpsest.
A small, framed portrait at the top reads like a relic or a mischievous icon, while the grayscale figure in the lower left adds a ghostly human counterpoint. Behind everything, layered text and partial words evoke walls overwritten by memory, history, and artistic intervention. The work vibrates between order and disorder, intention and accident, modernism and Dada — a visual manifesto that celebrates the absurd, the constructed, and the beautifully contradictory nature of art.
