This original acrylic mixed-media painting layers collage, printed ephemera, and painterly washes to create a dynamic tension between the mechanical and the natural. Rich reds and blues anchor the upper plane while greens, purples, and earthen tones drip and mingle below, suggesting an abstract forest as an abstract composition. Torn-paper edges, numeric markings, and fragments of printed text are integrated as visual punctuation, giving the composition a conceptual, archival quality. The result is both tactile and atmospheric: textured surfaces invite touch while layered imagery invites interpretation.
